WALK IN THE HILLS - A WATERCOLOR:
This is a recently done A3 sized watercolor painting based on my photograph taken in Kolli hills. Enjoyed working on the trees, dry leaves and wet soil on the sides of the road
Making - Lord Ganesha 2020
This watercolor painting was done during the Covid 2020 lockdown period. Used a bit of water based metallic colors along with acrylic paints. Enjoyed working on the ornaments. You can see the different stages of how the painting has evolved from the plain outline.

I present here the collage (various stages) these portraits got evolved. Hope you could see the transformation from plain outline to a life giving portrait.

Making of Rangoli
This Rangoli was made during Navaratri festival in 2018. It took nearly 3 hours to complete this. My wife and daughter takes good interest in working with me while I am making these Rangolis...
1st photo is the abrasive string (மாஞ்சா நூல்) which is used to fly kites.
2nd photo: Used that string to create a silhouette with the sunrise in background. Observe carefully that the string gives us the illusion of a birds nest in this lighting and exposure.
3rd photo is the crow which was shot on the same day while it was standing on a dish antenna.
Final output is what you see where all the three has been merged using the Double exposure technique.
Samsung S9+ was used to take all these shots including the edit.
